This Year's Top Scary Film Comes Back to IMAX Just in Time for Halloween

Perfectly timed spooky festivities kicks off, a standout among the highest-rated horror films of the past few years will have a limited comeback to cinemas, this time solely in IMAX format.

Large-Screen Special Run Details

The feature called Sinners, which is the work of the acclaimed director, is scheduled to be shown again in certain IMAX cinemas beginning Oct. 30, and will an exclusive week-long run through the 5th of November.

For those who watched the film in its initial cinema run, you already know the sheer amazing opportunity this is to experience viewing on a large format.

But, if your first viewing wasn’t in IMAX, this is your chance to fix that, since the movie is completely spectacular on a massive IMAX theater.

Bearing in mind that its first cinema release was abbreviated in terms of IMAX screenings, because of a competing movie taking over IMAX theaters just two weeks after release, it's possible this will actually be the very first opportunity to watch it in IMAX.

Missed This Horror Hit? This Is the Time!

On the other hand, it's possible you didn't watched the film at all. If so, you should to change that situation.

You won't find a better time of year for enjoying a scary film, most notably a story that transforms horror.

Fortunately, Coogler has considerable experience with that, previously achieving comparable work for sports dramas as well as Marvel adaptations.

The end result is a gripping yet deeply terrifying story filled with gore, emotional family struggles, lost love, bloodsuckers, and the talented actor portraying a double part as twins called Smoke and Stack.

Director's Thoughts on Casting

We requested the actor to accomplish this complex task from a technical standpoint, portraying a pair of separate individuals, yet it was a performance that was essential to include the history that we had earlier to pull this off.
Observing him praised from fellow actors as well as others in the industry, I believe that would mean great importance to the actor.

Future Projects in Coogler's Pipeline

Looking ahead, it's clear how Sinners certainly provided Ryan Coogler the motivation to keep exploring horror genres.

He’s already shared an upcoming X-Files currently being developed.

Discussing what else motivates his choice to revive the beloved series, he shared:

Like my bond with Rocky films and my father, The X-Files holds a special place for my mother.
She is incredibly important to me — she’s actually present this evening — so this is an important endeavor personally.
My goal is to do justice with her plus the audience. She has looked at part of the material I wrote for the reboot. My mom is enthusiastic.

One More Screening to Experience The Film

We don't know exactly when this interpretation on the sci-fi show will get its release.

At the very least, everyone receive a final opportunity to see his genuinely amazing Sinners as it comes back on the big screen starting the 30th.
