One extended journey through Australia has been cancelled following the death of an older lady who was abandoned by the cruise liner on a distant island.

The passenger had been hiking on Lizard Island with other travelers from the cruise ship, but broke off from the excursion for a break. The vessel left without her and returned after some time after the crew became aware the woman was not present.
