It's difficult for Australia to achieve unprecedented feats.

The greatest achievements have already been conquered.

This is the squad that has secured seven Cricket World Cups, in addition to an additional six T20 titles, and earlier maintained 1,294 days without defeat in 50-over cricket.

The fact it required until Sunday's success by three wickets over India for them to complete their first ODI chase above 300, reclaiming their record for the largest in the female 50-over format, is, in truth, a testament to the bowlers that have worn canary yellow over the last half-century.

It's challenging for their batsmen to maintain a record if not provided the opportunity.

"Ideally we won't need to repeat it but, should it happen, we are confident we can achieve it."

These statements will be the last rival teams at this tournament should hear.

Over the past five days a sense they will succeed regardless of circumstances has grown stronger - this victory succeeding win against Pakistan by 107 run margin despite sitting at 76-7 at one stage.
